I am a local and have been to Hearsay many times over the past few years. The service, quality of food, and drinks are simply outstanding! With so many restaurant choices in Ashland, Hearsay is my go-to establishment for a brunch with friends, business lunch, or romantic dinner. A lovely garden at the back of the speakeasy decorated restaurant is a romantic hidden gem, and the piano inside a lovely focal point for evening entertainment. - Tina Marie

Absolutely stunning experience. I look for several characteristics in what I consider an outstanding restaurant and seldom find them all in one place...Hearsay, in downtown Ashland, Oregon, is one of those precious gems exemplifying all that I look for... brilliantly put together with a decor out of a 1920’s NYC jazz club. Stunning paintings of jazz scenes done by an artist from Mexico adorn the walls. In the background is a jazz soundtrack...service was gracious and attentive...menu was varied and our choices delicious...Not to be missed! - M. Guelker

Transport yourself to the 20s, think speakeasy. This restaurant takes you back. The jazz big band creates the atmosphere to take you away. Drinks awesome. The fried artichoke appetizer is a must. I had the appetizer scallops and my partner the Buddha bowl, both light up your tongue to interesting palettes of flavor. I ordered the fresh pea soup with the special honey wheat bread, which was totally awesome. - Rosie

First time in Ashland – found a winner... Loved the decor, and perfect food! We had steelhead and chips and the steelhead with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Wonderful drinks complimented perfectly done dinners; a dessert special (hard cannoli shells filled with whipped chocolate and avocado dipped in chocolate and rolled in nuts) was CRAZY! Very attentive wait staff. I want to go back! - Frank S.

Super classy! I’ve been here for pre-theater brunch and the food is wonderful. I have also visited just for drinks. Best dirty martini I have had in Ashland. The staff is my favorite. They always spend a little more time and add a little something extra! Love the decor and the patio is perfect! - Sara R.

We had the pork chop and the garlic shrimp tonight. It was delightful. The pork chop comes with Brussel sprouts and a huckleberry sauce. The sweet of the sauce accentuated the pork chop. We also had the garlic shrimp. It was perfect. The staff was awesome. We will definitely be back. - R. DeVall
