Hearsay’s menu is designed to take you back to the era of comfort food—with a modern twist. We feature a wild mushroom pot pie with a flaky crust; fire-roasted corn on the cob; charred Brussels sprouts with bacon (a favorite among patrons), and much more, including dishes inspired by major culinary regions around the world.
Jim Quinby at Hearsay
From a musical family, I formed a band in the 1980s with my brother Bill and my sister Presila along with Paul Jenny & Tom Freeman, called PJQ, which lasted a few years. Since that time I have worked one season with the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and played for two shows with the Oregon Cabaret Theater. I played solo piano at Alex’s Plaza Restaurant from 1987 until Alex’s closed in January, 2014.

Flat Five Flim Flam Band
Flat 5 Flim Flam is a 5 piece modern acoustic swing band. They conjure the vibe of the 30s and 40s swing era of jazz through creative improvisation, raw musicality, and clever lyricism. The strong rhythmic churning of guitars, upright bass, piano, accordion, and horns drive a crowd to swing. The flat 5 entice the listener to have fun, perhaps challenge the grey areas of the inner psyche. They are always having fun and these cats swing!
